Before competing at the NCAA finals, Snowden had a successful season, setting a personal record of 2.18 meters at the SWAC Outdoor Championships in April 2023. He also earned All-SWAC first-team honors in both the high jump and the decathlon.
As Snowden continues to improve and compete at a high level, he will undoubtedly be a valuable asset to the UAPB track and field team. His determination and hard work are evident in his performances, and he is a true example of what it means to be a student-athlete.
With another year of eligibility left, Snowden will have the opportunity to come back even stronger and aim for a top 10 finish at the NCAA finals next year. For now, he can be proud of his accomplishments and use this experience as motivation to continue pushing himself to be the best athlete he can be.
